Who We Are

Take a look inside NSPLCC

NSPLCC’s role is to ensure the gaming industry is socially responsible, while generating reasonable profits for the provincial government which go directly into Nova Scotia’s general revenues to help pay for important programs, services and infrastructure.

We are the people who are responsible for managing the regulated gambling industry in the province. The Nova Scotia Provincial Lotteries and Casino Corporation (NSPLCC) is a Crown corporation governed by the provincial Gaming Control Act.

We work with our operators, Atlantic Lottery and Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, to ensure the industry is transparent, accountable, safe and entertaining.

The Alcohol and Gaming Division (AGD) of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations regulates and monitors the industry. The AGD is a separate entity, independent from NSPLCC and our industry operators, and oversees that all gaming regulations are followed.
