In 2008, NSPLCC committed to do a longitudinal study using My-Play System generated data and survey results from an initial selection of 200 VLT players to determine if the My-Play System had an impact on player behavior when engaging with the tools.
The research period included three reports: a baseline study, an interim and final report. The My-Play System was removed from VLTs in Nova Scotia because it was not meeting its objective of helping players make more informed decisions about their play.
